Venkeys is the chicken king of India and is the largest supplier of day old chicks in India. It has 28 hatcheries and also sells dressed and pre-processed chicken.

It also has a SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) egg division that produces 5.3 million SPF eggs which are used for producing vaccines. It also has a privately held biological company and produces vaccines for animals and humans.
The company has deep roots in the indian poultry industry and Dr. B.V Rao is fondly remembered as the father of indian poultry. He was also conferred with Padmashree in 1989.

Venkys is a deep rooted company and is a long term play on the indian economy. It can easily be valued at 300 and above on a good day and has lot of potential from these levels.
